In 2005, Anita was assigned to the position as Director of the yoga program at Spa Elysium, Chestnut Hill, and she directed the Spinning Program at Philly Total Fitness & Dance.  Anita has instructed and trained at various health clubs throughout the Philadelphia Metropolitan area.  She teamed up with Scorpion Athletics in 2002.  She found that Scorpion Athletics freely allowed her to expand her ability to reach people in need of encouragement and understanding of the fitness concepts.

Anita was once more than sixty-five pounds overweight, having always had unhealthy eating behavior and virtually no exercise habits.  Her self-esteem suffered terribly and she loathed the way she looked and felt.  Being drained and tired of the endless diet cycle, she finally figured it was time for a definite change.  She went to the gym in search of a physical-fitness workout and she found her destiny.

As she works with her clients over time, the results of their hard work and commitment becomes evident.  The result of people changing their lives, not just their bodies, is what inspires her to continue educating and learning about fitness.  She works with her clients to customize a plan specifically for them, which may include yoga, strength training and cardiovascular exercise.  She considers the persons present fitness level, the number of times a week that they have to implement a fitness plan, their long and short-term fitness goals, THEN develops a program that is private and on their own terms.  She teaches clients the enjoyment of exercising by using motivation techniques, and utilizing nutritional habits to feed and train the brain to enjoy exercising.  Once people see results, adherence comes naturally.
